Born in the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago, my passion for the arts began when I fell in love with television at a young age. My impressionable mind was fascinated by any on-screen character or subject, regardless of the genre. Entertainment wasn’t enough. The need for a deeper understanding of this all-encompassing art form catalysed the beginnings of my journey.

 

Where I come from, your scholastic achievements always took priority over intrinsic interests; however, once presented with the opportunity and a few good mentors, I committed myself to embody the professional, technical and creative applications of a self-taught professional in my regional industry.

 

As an employee and employer, I have worked with several international brands and entertainment entities such as Digicel, Angostura, Nestle, and Huawei, as well as Will Smith, Niki Minaj and Alvin Clayton. Over the years, I have learned that, in time, life will make students and teachers of us all; hence, like water, I remain formless with those I work with.

 

For me, my career journey has come with many successes and lessons, both propelling me towards a newfound focus, Filmmaking. I truly believe this "pursuit of happiness" would help to develop my television production skills further and to bring the most profound sense of fulfilment to my innate passion for storytelling. Bob Marley once said, "Every man has the right to decide his own destiny...". In the spirit of these words, I choose this path that so often feels like it chose me.
